Maurits Berger

Prof dr Maurits S. Berger LL.M, is a lawyer and Arabist, who worked as a judge, advocate, journalist and a senior fellow with the Clingendael Institute for International Relations before he joined the Religious Studies department at Leiden University as a professor of Islam and the West. He teaches in the programmes of International Studies, Religious Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies in the faculties of Humanities, and Global Governance at Leiden University.
