Alexandra Cuffel
Alexandra Cuffel is professor of Jewish Religion in Past and Present Times at the Center for Religious Studies, Ruhr University Bochum. She received grants from the European Research Council; the American Council of Learned Societies; and the Women’s Studies in Religion Fellowship from Harvard Divinity School, among others. Her research focuses on relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims during the Middle Ages, specifically on the intersections of religious polemic and gender both in the Middle East and Western Europe.
