Users will also be able to submit their data in an easy-to-use submission system. Content published in the portal will benefit from tracked usage metrics - including Altmetrics - clear licencing information, previewed files, a citable digital object identifier (DOI), and more.

“We are pleased to partner with Figshare and offer their platform as a new open access publishing tool at AUP. This will help our authors to increase the visibility and usage of their work and will enable more researchers to read these publications, including those who would otherwise not be able to access that information”, said Jan-Peter Wissink, Managing Director of Amsterdam University Press.

“We’re pleased to be working with Amsterdam University Press to further their commitment to open access publications,” said Mark Hahnel, Founder and CEO of Figshare. “To have the supplementary materials published openly alongside the publication is great for authors and readers.”
