Balázs Nagy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medieval History at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. He is a founding board member of the Medieval Central European Research Network (MECERN). His recent research examines the impact of the Mongol invasions on Central Europe in the thirteenth century, situating these events within their wider Eurasian context.
