Merei Sandbrink

Merei studied both Graphic Design at the Utrecht School of Arts and and Psychology at Amsterdam University. She combined both expertises in her job as product designer and researcher for digital design agencies in Amsterdam. As a designer and researcher she worked for brands like LeasePlan and AkzoNobel but what she enjoyed most is working for non-profits and mission driven small companies. In 2024 she rebranded and redesigned the platform De Dikke Blauwe to the current platform Wereld van Filantropie (AUP’s news platform for the philanthropic sector) and became a steady part of the team. As platform manager of Wereld van Filantropie, Merei is responsible for both the daily operations of the platform as well as future strategies.
