Emily Gioielli is Assistant Professor of Teaching (Modern European History) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Her research and writing focuses on the history of women, gender, and sexuality and social and environmental histories of violence and peace in Central and Eastern Europe in the twentieth century.
