XIII International Book Arsenal will take place from Thursday 29th May to Sunday 1st June 2025 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

For the first time, this year's Book Arsenal will present the academic publishing community in Ukraine. SUPRR, together with the Coordination Centre for Scientific Journals of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, will share a booth to represent academic publishers, editors of scholarly journals and university print centres. The aim is to share the challenges, needs and incredible development potential of this industry through a programme of networking and knowledge-sharing events.

We are eager to discuss institutional approaches to publishing, and show how academic publications can be visible and relevant to both the scholarly community and a wider audience. We hope to see you there!

Our programme includes three thematic networking events:

30 May | 12:00-13:00 Book Collections Hall, section D2 Networking zone: introductions, short presentations, conversation

30 May | 16:30-17:30 Author's stage Public discussion: 'Abduction, appropriation and destruction by Russians of Ukrainian academic heritage, collections of museums and libraries: how to resist?'

31 May | 12:00-14:00 Booth D2.30 Final networking with snacks, informal conversation, and moderated discussion.

The International Book Arsenal Festival is an annual project of Mystetskyi Arsenal founded in 2011. It is an annual intellectual event in Ukraine, bringing together the book, visual, musical, and theatrical scenes in Ukraine.
