Lea Greenberg

Lea Greenberg earned her PhD from the Carolina-Duke Graduate Program in German Studies (UNC-Chapel Hill/Duke University), focusing on German Jewish and Yiddish literature. She is an experienced editor, translator, and researcher, having worked at Knox College (Illinois) and the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History.

As a commissioning editor for Central European University Press, she welcomes proposals from a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences, including anthropology, care studies, cultural studies, environmental studies, history of nationalism and language, linguistics, literary studies, and museum studies.
