Vicki Blud gained her PhD from King's College London and lectured in medieval literature at KCL, the University of Surrey, and the University of York, where she is a research associate. She has published on medieval gender and sexuality, the animal turn, mysticism, place, intersections of cognitive sciences with the humanities, and transgressive speech. She has been with AUP since 2016 and currently coordinates peer reviews on English-language titles.
Vicki is the commissioning editor for the book series Song Studies.
